Rank Guide

The ranks in the game have different perks and caps. Each one gives access to something the previous did not.

Academy Student
This is the rank that you start with. You gain the ability to use the attack verb, Bunshin no Jutsu and Kawarimi no Jutsu off the bat. Your cap is 250. You will not be able to enter a clan house until you reach the rank of Genin. All Academy Students will be attacked by other villages' Village Shinobi. Take a Genin exam to go to the next rank.

Genin
You will achieve the rank of Genin by passing a Genin exam. Take the Genin test, pass it, and talk to Iruka. You do not have to do the 10 Henges he asks for. You will gain a headband. This is your honor and your dignity. Once you level up, or send to spawn, you will learn Sennen Goroshi. The rank of Genin allows you to enter your clan house to get your hand signs and clan jutsus.

The Genin cap is 500. Once you reach this, you will be able to enter the Chuunin exam room. You gain the status of diplomatic immunity from the Village Shinobi of other villages. You have the option to leave your village and become a Missing Ninja at Genin. Take the Chuunin Exam to become a Chuunin.

Chuunin
You gain the rank of Chuunin by passing the Chuunin exam. See the Chuunin Exam Overview
When becoming a Chuunin, several new options become available.
-You can now use the Power-Up verb.
-You get a Chuunin vest
-You can gain the Rabbit Hand sign.
The Chuunin rank cap is 750. You will be instantly promoted to Jounin when you cap your Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu. Upon reaching the rank of Chuunin, you no longer have diplomatic immunity from the Village Shinobi of other villages.

Jounin
The rank of Jounin will be gained by capping your Chuunin stats. Again, several options become available to you.
-You gain a Jounin suit.
-You are able to achieve the third stage of Kyuubi, Shukaku, and/or Curse Seal, assuming you have the requirements.
-You learn the technique Konoha Kage Buyou.
The Jounin rank cap is 1000.

ANBU
The rank of ANBU can be achieved at Jounin. There are two ways of getting it.
Default - 500 Kills. 500 Missing Kills. Level 500.
Your Kage's personal requirements. This varies from village to village, leader to leader.
When you reach the rank of ANBU, you will gain the following:
-An ANBU Cloak
-An ANBU Vest
-A Custom Jutsu (A jutsu off the custom list)
The ANBU rank cap is 1250.

ANBU Captain
The rank of ANBU Captain can be achieved at ANBU. You must cap your stats before getting it. Like ANBU, there are two ways of getting it.
Default - 1000 kills. 1000 Missing Kills. Level 1000.
Your Kage's personal requirements. This varies from village to village, leader to leader.
When you reach the rank of ANBU Captain, you will gain the following:
-An ANBU Captain Cloak
-An ANBU Suit
-An ANBU Mask
-A Custom Jutsu (A jutsu off the custom list)
The ANBU Captain rank cap is 1500. (Ask an admin to set your cap from 1000 to 1500. It's bugged.)

Hunter-Nin
The rank of Hunter Nin can be achieved at Jounin, ANBU, or ANBU Captain. There are two ways of getting it.
Default - 1500 Missing Kills and level up afterwards.
Have a GM promote you.
When you reach the rank of Hunter Nin, you will gain the following:
-A Hunter Suit
-An ANBU Mask
-You learn the technique Jourou Senbon
The Hunter Nin rank cap is 1750.

Sannin
The rank of Sannin can be achieved at the rank of Hunter-Nin. You must have your stats capped in order to be promoted. There are only three Sannin permitted in each village. When you reach the rank of Sannin, you gain the following:
-A Sannin Suit
-A Custom Jutsu (A jutsu off the custom list)
The Sannin rank cap is 2000.

Sage
The rank of Sage can be achieved at the rank of Sannin. This rank is reserved for only the finest shinobi. The Sage is the village's second strongest Shinobi, and will double as the village's leader if anything should happen to the Kage. You must have your stats capped in order to be promoted. There is only one Sage in each village. When you reach the rank of Sage, you gain the following:
-A Sage Suit
-A Custom Jutsu (A jutsu off the custom list)
The Sage rank cap is 2500.

Kage
The rank of Kage can only be achieved through the Owner or Host. This is the Village Leader. Upon being given the title of Kage, you are given the following:
-A Kage hat (Variable by village)
-A Kage suit (Variable by village)
-Make Genin
-Make Chuunin
-Make Jounin
-Make ANBU
-Make ANBU Captain
-Make Sannin
-Make Sage
-Village Boot
-Chuunin Exam
-GM Status
The Kage rank cap is 2500.

Missing-Nin
The rank of Missing Nin can be achieved by leaving your village. You can do this at any time as long as you are at the rank of Genin or higher. It is not wise to leave the village unless you are strong enough, as you cannot get any stronger. When you leave your village, you gain the following:
You learn the jutsu Bakuretsu Bunshin no Jutsu
The Missing-Nin rank cap is 2000.

Akatsuki
The rank of Akatsuki can be achieved by two ways. You must be a Missing Nin in order to join.
-Default - 2000 kills. 2000 missing kills. Level 2000.
-Akatsuki Leader's requirements, which vary by Akatsuki Leaders.
Upon joining Akatsuki, you gain the following:
-An Akatsuki Cloak
-An Akatsuki Hat
-You learn the jutsu Genryu Kyuu Fuuin
The Akatsuki rank cap is 2000.

Akatsuki Leader
The rank of Akatsuki leader can only be gained through the Host, or Owner of the game. The Akatsuki leader is the Leader of the Akatsuki Organization.
Upon becoming the Akatsuki Leader, you gain the following:
-An Akatsuki Cloak
-An Akatsuki Hat
-You learn the jutsu Genryu Kyuu Fuuin
-Invite to Organization
-Organization Boot

Sound Organization
The rank of Sound Organization member can be achieved by two ways. You must be a Missing Nin in order to join.
Default - 2000 kills. 2000 missing kills. Level 2000
Sound Organization Leader's requirements, which vary by leaders.
Upon joining the Sound Organization, you gain the following:
-Sound Organization Suit
-Mass Waves
-Sound Waves
The Sound Organization rank cap is 2000.

Sound Organization Leader
The rank of Sound Organization leader can only be gained through the Host, or Owner of the game. The Sound Organization leader is the Leader of the Sound Organization.
Upon becoming the Sound Organization Leader, you gain the following:
-Sound Organization Suit
-Mass Waves
-Sound Waves
-Organization Invite
-Organization Boot
The Sound Organization Leader rank cap is 2500.
